Tom Bachman developed "Teen Encounter" in 1989. After participating in "Marriage Encounter". All the issues there were transferable to teenagers and unifying youth groups. So, with help from others, he was able to translate this successful structure into "Teen Encounter"
Tom was a Youth Pastor for twelve years in two seperate church and did a "Teen Encounter" in both. Since 1996, he travels throughout the country doing these Lock-in retreats.
